Principal's Message

Welcome to the St Joseph’s Catholic School website.

St Joseph’s Catholic School affords each and every student the opportunity to embrace a Catholic education. An acceptance by students, parents and staff that "Christ is the founder of the whole educational enterprise in a Catholic School" provides the foundation for all activities and experiences that take place in the school. Christ-centred education at St Joseph’s Catholic School involves commitment to both right teaching and right practice. The right teaching is the "Good News" of Jesus. The right practice is sanctified in community and in service.

Pastoral Care underpins the school’s Welfare and Discipline Policy. It encompasses everything the school community does to encourage the students to grow academically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually towards their human potential at school.

The school motto exhorts every member of the school community to "Strive for better things". Students from a wide range of abilities, interests, backgrounds and faiths are given the opportunity to experience happiness, success and friendship in their lives at school.

As Principal, I am very proud of the tradition, reputation, achievements, culture and spirit of the school, its students, teachers and parents, past and present. To experience life within the boundaries of St Joseph’s Catholic School is to experience life at its best and fullest.

Mrs Robyn Wallace, Principal
